  • We are hiring immediately for a part time ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (MARKETING) position.

  • Requirement : 1 to 3 years of prior portfolio-building and hands-on experience are required. This role is ideal for a dynamic storyteller who thrives at the intersection of social media, design, photography, and video, and is passionate about creating meaningful campus experiences. 
    • Content Creation and Storytelling - Capture and edit high-quality photography and videography showcasing food, events, and campus life.
    • Graphic Design and Branding - Utilize tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create visually compelling content.
    • Social Media Management - Collaborate with campus partners and student organizations to enhance visibility and participation.
    • Opportunity to own the creative vision for a major campus dining program and a chance to build a portfolio of high-impact creative work with opportunity for growth.
  • Pay Range:  $20.00 per hour to $24.00   per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
  • Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, student's parents and Supervisor.
  • Complete and maintain accurate and up to date records of students eligible for free and reduced priced lunches if applicable.
  • Develop and execute engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms in alignment with Chartwells and university standards
  • Manage day-to-day social media calendars, scheduling, and posting
  • Assist in developing innovative campaigns that drive traffic and increase participation
  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
