Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Teach comprehensive Art courses including drawing, painting, sculpture, design, and art history to students of various age groups.
2. Create a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and artistic exploration.
3. Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and art projects aligned with school standards and student developmental levels.
4. Organize and curate student art exhibitions, competitions, and art-related events.
5. Evaluate student artwork, provide constructive feedback, and maintain portfolios and assessment records.
6. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into cross-curricular projects and school-wide activities.

Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related discipline.
2. Previous teaching experience in Art, preferably in an international school or bilingual setting.
3. Proficiency in multiple art mediums and techniques.
4. Fluent in English; ability to teach in English is essential.
5. Creative, patient, and able to engage and motivate students.
6. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications
1. Professional teaching certification in Art Education is a plus.
2. Demonstrated portfolio of personal artwork.
3. Experience with IB Visual Arts, AP Art, or similar international curricula is highly desirable.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
5. Cultural sensitivity and enthusiasm for working in a diverse community.
