Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Laborer, where you will play a vital role in remodeling old trailers. Your responsibilities will include performing tear-outs, finish carpentry such as trim, doors, and windows, painting, basic drywall and sheetrock work, as well as laying carpet and tile. You will also be involved in basic finishing of plumbing accessories and other make-ready duties for trailers as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tear out of old trailers for remodel preparation.
  • Execute finish carpentry tasks including trim, doors, and windows.
  • Conduct painting and basic drywall/sheetrock work.
  • Lay carpet and tile flooring.
  • Handle basic finishing of plumbing accessories.
  • Complete other assigned make-ready duties for trailers.
Essential Skills
  • General labor experience in construction.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Experience in framing, drywall, carpentry, painting, and finish carpentry.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in construction or carpentry is preferred, but other trades will be considered.
  • High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred for career advancement.
Work Environment

This role is entirely outdoors, requiring work in both hot summers and cold winters. A roof is available for rainy days, but all tasks are performed outside. Dress code is flexible, allowing individuals to wear anything suitable for getting dirty. Our team culture focuses on task completion with approximately five employees in production. Teamwork is essential, but individuals must also work independently with minimal supervision. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. There may be opportunities for after-hours work and occasional Saturdays, though Sundays are rarely required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
