Job Description

We are seeking a Security Software Data Engineer III to join our mature, Agile, cross-functional security software squad. The role maintains security products and designs and builds custom cybersecurity integrations with customer applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in encryption, certificate and key management, integration engineering, and secure software development and a proven ability to deliver end-to-end integrations, strengthen application security, and coordinate across security and application teams.

Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements for new integrations and implement solutions that increase application security.
• Establish effective working relationships with application teams.
• Partner with Information Security teams to align on standards and best practices.
• Organize and execute projects, including tracking deliverables and milestones, reporting progress, and documenting from initial requirements through support documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable relevant experience.
• Working understanding of encryption and key/certificate best practices.
• Working understanding of certificate management and key management systems.
• Experience with Venafi and CyberArk.
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, or similar.
• Architect mindset to understand system interconnections and troubleshoot distributed systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or IBM Vault.
• Experience with tokenization.
• Experience with post-quantum readiness or post-quantum cryptography (PQR/PQC).
• Ability to write readable unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
