Summary

We are seeking an energetic, dependable, teacher who has worked with one-year-old children and understands and effectively handles the challenges that working with this age brings. These little guys are super cute but really, really, busy little children.

Hours: 2p - 6p, Monday through Friday.

Note: We do have openings for staff children at this time.

Duties

Afternoon duties include:

• Maintaining a safe, comfortable, clean, environment for the children.
• Supervising snack time and outside play.
• Facilitating fun learning activities for the children.
• Effectively communicating with co-workers and parents.
• Light cleaning in classroom at end of day.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 yrs.
• Highly dependable person with reliable transportation.
• Proof of High School completion
• Experience working with young children.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development and the willingness to complete ongoing on-line training, at no cost.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or the willingness to obtain the provided training.
• Requirements include the ability to stand on feet for a period of time, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• Strong organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Provide verifiable references.
• Non-smoker
