Summary

This teaching position supports students by creating a happy, caring, and safe learning environment. S/he must be able to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a team environment. Assist the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the students. Maitland Montessori School is a well-established and respected Montessori school. Training could be offered to the right candidate should they wish to work towards a Montessori credential.

Duties

• Lesson Planning
• Creative thinking
• Assist in the maintenance of the learning environment
• Attend all staff meetings an programs sponsored by Maitland Montessori School
• Actively seeking professional growth and development
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Work well in a team
• Become familiar with Montessori philosophy

Requirements

• Must clear full Background check
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Qualify for Infant/Child CPR and First aid certification within the first month of hire
• Enthusiasm and energetic
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree
• Montessori teaching experience
• Teaching experience
