Industrial Electrician | Rockford, MI

Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Rockford seeking Industrial Electricians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical malfunctions in machinery and control systems.
• Install, modify, and upgrade electrical circuits, wiring, and components according to blueprints and schematics.
• Calibrate and test electrical instruments and control devices for optimal performance.
• Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC), and company policies.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential electrical hazards or inefficiencies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience with industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical machinery and components.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and HMI development experience (e.g., Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal)
• Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience
• Industrial networking (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) setup and diagnostics
• Experience with high voltage distribution systems (480V+ substations)
