A client of TEKsystems is seeking an IT Asset Manager to support a North America laptop refresh initiative involving a new vendor. This is a 1‑year+ contract with strong potential for contract‑to‑hire.

This role is hybrid, with candidates sitting 2–3 days per week onsite.

The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for ensuring inventory levels align with refresh targets while keeping orders flowing smoothly throughout the rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecast, coordinate, and refresh laptop inventory to meet program goals

Ensure hardware orders are placed and fulfilled smoothly

Partner closely with the procurement team to coordinate purchase orders as needed

Support vendor transition during large‑scale enterprise laptop refresh

Apply technical knowledge to ensure appropriate hardware configurations are ordered (e.g., RAM, processors, storage)

This is a Contract position based out of Wayzata, MN.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
