Required Skills/Experience:

• Cardiovascular experience required.
• RNs must be able to start their own IVs.
• Patient population includes CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and other cardiovascular-related cases. -Required Skills: Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Work Settings, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal

Special Requests:

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• All positions at Lovelace Health Facilities require New Mexico fingerprinting to be completed before their start date. This means fingerprint results will need to be obtained before the facility compliance deadline. Failure to fully complete the fingerprint requirement within three business days of accepting an assignment at Lovelace may lead to delayed results from the New Mexico DOH. In the event results are delayed, the facility may choose to push the clinician's start date until results are in.
• Lovelace is not accepting excessive RTO requests.
• Block scheduling is case by case.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Option of 36 or 48 hours.
• Weekend requirement: as needed, rotating.
• On-call requirement: none.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
