What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the post.
• Perform screening duties for visitors patients staff and/or vendors following site protocols for entry identification and restricted items.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas and perimeter locations with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Assist with access control activities monitor entrances and high-traffic areas and help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
