A Texas-based managed IT services provider headquartered in Arlington is seeking a Senior Engineer with a generalist background to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday), with the potential to move to a hybrid schedule after a successful probation period.

This position is perfect for a seasoned professional with deep server-side experience and strong network design expertise. The role involves a 50/50 split between systems and network responsibilities, including architecture, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting across a range of modern technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across both server and network environment
• Lead architecture and deployment of systems involving VMware, Hyper-V, Azure AD, Active Directory, and Windows Server technologies
• Manage and optimize networking infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls
• Work with products from Cisco, Fortinet, and SonicWall (other vendor experience also considered)
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable IT solutions

Skills/Must have:

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure within an MSP or similar environment
• Strong server-side skills: VMware, Hyper-V, Azure AD, Active Directory, Windows Servers, and O365
• Solid network design and support background: routing & switching, wireless, and firewalls
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure and Microsoft 365
• Ability to take projects from design through to completion with minimal oversight
