Title: Social Worker (Dutchess County Family Education Program)
Status: Non-Exempt, 40-hours per week
Salary: $28.09 per hour, plus on call stipend
Reports to: Program Coordinator
FUNCTION:
The Social Worker provides high-quality, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed services to their caseload of families and children in the Dutchess County Family Education Program (DC FEP). The Social Worker works in close collaboration with the Case Manager to provide families referred by the Dutchess County Department of Community and Family Services with in- home parenting skills, safety assessments, case management support, referrals, resources and on call- support to achieve
goals of safety and reduce risk of out-of-home placement. The Social Worker should enthusiastically support, practice, and communicate the agency’s mission and statement of values.

Work Environment – The Social Worker will primarily work from the office setting, located at 29 North Hamilton Street in Poughkeepsie, in the community, and travel to offsite home visits and meetings.
