Full time RegularACRT, Inc. is seeking an experienced arboriculture professional with a strong background in training, leading, and developing field personnel in arboriculture and utility line clearance operations. This remote position requires approximately 75% travel throughout the United States to deliver training at customer locations and ACRT company sites.
Candidates will serve as subject matter experts in arborist safety and field operations, delivering structured, hands-on training to students performing arboricultural and utility-related work. The Traveling Crew Trainer will coach, provide feedback, evaluate skill development, and reinforce safe work practices across a wide range of experience levels. This role requires extensive travel nationwide to support workforce development initiatives and ensure consistent safety and performance standards across regions.

This position will provide hands-on and classroom-based training in electrical hazard awareness, hazard tree identification and mitigation, utility pruning standards, roping and rigging techniques, felling procedures, line strike prevention, rescue techniques, and both basic and advanced climbing systems. Candidates must have experience in tree care, utility line clearance operations, and climbing techniques. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with and instruct diverse groups of adult learners, clearly demonstrate technical skills in both field and classroom settings, and maintain a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
