Job Description

To provide high-quality English language and literature education, preparing students for international English exams like IGCSE and IELTS. The successful candidate will inspire a
love for English and equip students with the English skills needed for academic success and individual growth globally.
1. Classroom Teaching:
o Teach a range of courses, which may include IGCSE English (ESL & EFL) and Advanced English
o Develop syllabus, course overview and implement engaging lesson plans, unit plans, and teaching materials that cater to the curriculum requirements.

o Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to promote critical thinking, creativity, and a student-centered learning environment.
2. Student Assessment and Progress:
o Design, administer, and mark assessments, tests, and examinations.
o Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress.
o Analyze student performance data to guide instruction and support interventions
3. Working as a Member of the AL English Team and School Community
o Daily routines as an English teacher
o Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Graduate from a prestigious university in US, UK, Canada, or Australia, with a major in English Language or Literature (a first degree in this field is preferred), or possess a TESOL/TEFL certificate from a renowned university in US, UK, Canada, or Australia.
3-5 years of related English teaching experience to speakers of English as a second language at secondary schools with good track of professional record.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent English proficiency.
• Proactive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit.
• Passionate about education, patient and dedicated to supporting student learning and development.
• Exceptional communication skills with a team-work spirit.
