Summary of Role: We are seeking a lead-level Forklift Mechanic specializing in the maintenance and repair of LPG (Propane) sit-down forklifts. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our fleet through aggressive preventive maintenance and rapid emergency troubleshooting.
This is not a travel position; you will work in our manufacturing plant, servicing our forklift fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Engine & Fuel Systems: Diagnose and repair internal combustion (LPG) engines, including fuel regulators, carburetors, and ignition systems.
- Hydraulic Systems: Maintain and repair mast assemblies, lift/tilt cylinders, control valves, and high-pressure hoses.
- Electrical Diagnostics: Troubleshoot 12V/24V electrical systems, including starters, alternators, and safety lighting.
- Braking & Steering: Perform complete overhauls of braking systems and steering linkages to ensure operator safety.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled inspections, oil changes, and fluid analysis to maximize equipment uptime.
Required Skills & Experience
- Propane Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically with LPG/Internal Combustion sit-down forklifts (Hyster, Yale, Toyota, or similar).

- wearing steel toe shoes
